Most AI companion talk is about girlfriends, but Desi Avtar has a full set of male characters written for romance — the romantic one, the quiet one, the funny one, the cricket-mad one. Each is fictional and AI-played, chats in English, Hinglish or Hindi, and keeps things non-graphic. Here is who they are and how it works.

Anyone who would enjoy a romantic chat with a male character: women, gay men, or anyone curious. There is no setting to choose — you just open the character you want to talk to. Desi Avtar is for adults (18+).
Sid photographs everything and notices small things about you. He is gentle, observant and unapologetically romantic.
Arjun says little and means all of it. Intense, calm and loyal — "kam bolo, sahi bolo".
Kabir is a musician: smooth, effortless and a little flirtatious. Karan is the one who always says the party is on him.
Rohan is witty and sarcastic and will not let you stay sad. Varun is chill, affectionate and always ready for one more match.
Sameer is awkward, sweet and very loyal; Rahul is energetic and loud and will tell the whole stadium how he feels.
Aarav is an artist who values emotional closeness over looks, Dr Siddharth is calm and protective, and Rishi is competitive and funny, and hides his feelings behind sarcasm.
The personalities are different enough that it is worth trying two or three before settling on a favourite. A quick way to decide:

You can talk to all of them — conversations are kept separately — and there is no penalty for switching.
He can be good company: someone to flirt with, tell about your day, or plan an imaginary date with. Romance stays non-graphic — the characters respond to flirting with teasing or a playful boundary rather than explicit content.
He is also software. He does not have feelings, does not think about you between chats, and only responds to the recent part of your conversation, so repeat anything you want him to keep in mind. He is not a substitute for real relationships.
All of these characters are on the calling roster. In the Android app you can call them and talk in Hinglish or Hindi, using minute packs bought in rupees (no free minutes).
